Trogir is a town by the harbour aprox 25 km west from Split. Trogir is placed between the mainland and the island of Ciovo and is connected by two bridges.
Trogir has been recognized by UNESCO and in 1997 was registed as a World Cultural Herritage.
This small town can offer you a lot of restaurants, bars, small shops etc but also a well visited market where you can buy a lot of different nice things.
You can easily walk around for hours and enjoy old buildings and monasteries in the narrow allies.
Down by the harbor, tourists and “boat-people” enjoy a coffee or a beer in the sunsetwatching a harbor full of expensive yachts from different countries. In this area in Trogir you will find people and music until (very) late.
Many inhabitants and also tourists visits the large market where they sell all different kinds of daily fresh vegetables and fruit but also olive oil, homemade wine etc etc. Nearby you will also find a fish market.
